Maybe it was something about the way she looked. Maybe it was how she knew all the words to "Horst Wessel Lied". Maybe it was the smoking Mauser in her hand as she stood over the body. Whatever it was, I knew this dame was trouble...
A sketch of Nazi test pilot/spy Ilsa Klensch, a character created for Ken Fletcher's Spontoon Island.

The fraulein looks just fine to me. But then, I'm German (in ancestry) and I like wolves, so of course I like her.
Will you ever be finishing this piece? And just where exactly has Ilsa shown up in the Spontoon Island stories?
Richard Bartrop
Yes, I will be finishing it, and making prints. Ilsa has appeared in a number of text stories by different writers, as well as in my own comic "The Air Pirates".

Prints
And just where will the prints be available? I remember you selling your prints through Rabbit Valley a few years back, or have you gone elsewhere since?
And thanks for the response.
Richard Bartrop
I still have prints through Rabbit Valley, and a couple on deviantart. As for Ilsa prints, seeing as how Artsports is planning a print service at some point, I may just wait until that's up.

So pearl white evening gown over her black fur?

Of course. White satin is the unofficial uniform of the 1930's movie vamp.
