Little Grey Cloud's Rodeo for the especially brave by Bloodhound Omega

An almost poster-sized painting for the EF, featuring a character designed by my friend Tascun.

Despite the time and effort it took me to finish this thing I really enjoyed it.

Frenulum Mustelid Lumbar 2 by Orion Sandstorrm

A fantasy landscape that I drew while listening to the old Sherlock Holmes radio plays. However, this is quite far from being an illustration for those stories.

The Historian by emilylorange

A bizzare thing that came out of the sketch-group this week. The idea for him came to me last night. I fear a story on the horizon. Damn.

Parts I like, parts I don't... but it really is just a bunch of marker over a sketch

Art and character belongs to me.

Medium: Tria Marker, Pencil
Tags: lizard
This is Kyowai. It was a character portait commission from way back in 2002. I can't seem to remember who commissioned it [Kyowai did!].
Asheru 63 Flash by Scott Ruggels

Spent this weekend in a working vacation, learning Flash. In a break from the tutorials, I colored a sketch in Flash and found the program to have some pretty good inking tools. This digital ink and coloring took about 4 hours. This is NOT suitable for animation, but give me an idea of hwo to Draw in it. Animation and simple characters come later, but I feel comfortable with the tools, now.

Medium: Flash MX 2004
Tags: wolf sword barbarian roman ancient Asheru Lupine butt.
Dessa Pinup by Damalia

Here's a little painting I did as a commission for the good folks over at the Chakat's Den. It's a classical-style pinup of a Rakshani tiger lady by the name of Dessa, posed suggestively on the hide of some prey species from her home planet (inspired by an addax).

Here's a little painting I did as a commission for the good folks over at the Chakat's Den. It's a classical-style pinup of a Rakshani tiger lady by the name of Dessa, posed suggestively on the hide of some prey species from her home planet (inspired by an addax).

Teaching navigation in old Fehnnia by stevegallacci

Another Fehnnik image. Much like nautical navigation, being able to travel the trackless deserts needs accurate guidance. That and Fehnniks had an intense interest in astronomy with its connections to astrology and religion. So very elaborate instruments, along with time tables assembled over centuries of observations, could derive location and time/date with great aaccuracy.

Medium: pencil
Tags: Fehnniks
Queen Amber Rust by DimeSpin

Queen Amber Rust. She's a young Queen of an old established hive. She's a kind, soft spoken lady, but she also has a terrible, cold kind of intelligence. Some people are good because they could not conceive of doing something cruel. Amber Rust is good because she feels benevolence is the best policy 99% of the time. It's the remaining 1% of the time that blindsides people.

Commission for the sweet-as-honey Bjorn Grafeldr. I love bears! Why aren't more of you guys bears? :) I sepia-ized the picture to give more of a feel to the time period, as well as added in details no one will see until you have the high-res version, such as words on the pages of the book. :) What a very fun piece to do! Bjorn sure does have an interesting back story of his character. What is he reading, and why is he studying it so intently? Read his story and find out!
