digital painting - daily life in the industrial zone's suburbs by NeosmashDx (Myriam Fourati)

It was supposed to be a speedpaint but..er...well...
So it's basically Nash taking it easy and chilling out with her young dragon companion Geqco while Kai's (a secondary character) playing electric guitar (fully and illegally assembled with industrial leftover material) to earn himself some bonus money when he's not giving underground concerts.

Little Grey Cloud's Rodeo for the especially brave by Bloodhound Omega

An almost poster-sized painting for the EF, featuring a character designed by my friend Tascun.

Despite the time and effort it took me to finish this thing I really enjoyed it.

A fantasy landscape that I drew while listening to the old Sherlock Holmes radio plays. However, this is quite far from being an illustration for those stories.

The Historian by emilylorange

A bizzare thing that came out of the sketch-group this week. The idea for him came to me last night. I fear a story on the horizon. Damn.

Parts I like, parts I don't... but it really is just a bunch of marker over a sketch

Art and character belongs to me.

Medium: Tria Marker, Pencil
Tags: lizard
This is Kyowai. It was a character portait commission from way back in 2002. I can't seem to remember who commissioned it [Kyowai did!].
Militsya _ Security by Scott Ruggels

in the game the characters have to go to a fairly guarded enclave in the former Soviet union. Here are the cops/ Security. The other two are plainclothes security. Below s the standard issue Pistol, a 12mm dual mode (Cased/Caseless). Vests are color coded due to job. Plainclothes were subdued suits except the lapel facings which are colorful Chinese brocade, and a black silk collar band. the "current style" showing the Chinese influence on Fashion. No tie as they aren't "senior corprate management".
this is my first attempt using, "Easy Paint Tool SAI". If anyone has any tips, tricks or links for video tutorials please pass then along, This will eventually be colored. Comparing this to inking in Flash, this has more versatility and depth, but Flash is faster, and resolution independent. Inking in Sai, seemed to take as long as it took as it would using steel pens and Higgins Black ink. The original pencils can be seen in my sketch Gallery Uploaded on thsi same date.
Bandolero by Scott Ruggels

This was a commission from a co-worker who wanted a Bandolero, a member of Zapata's revolutionaries from he turn of the century, defiant to the last at a firing squad, but with a skull for a head. I don't understand the symbology but I did as requested, and I thought it worked out. This was intended as a tatoo. I expect I will do a revision. No problem though, glad for the business. (much better discussing things face to face). Pen and brush inks on Bristol.

Asheru 63 Flash by Scott Ruggels

Spent this weekend in a working vacation, learning Flash. In a break from the tutorials, I colored a sketch in Flash and found the program to have some pretty good inking tools. This digital ink and coloring took about 4 hours. This is NOT suitable for animation, but give me an idea of hwo to Draw in it.
